State of Dis-Union

by The Pinder Authority on January 28, 2010

I’m not a political guy, nor do I ever want to be.  I consider myself an independent voter who leans Republican, but votes for either party if the right person is running.  For instance I voted for Bush sr.  in 88, not because I believe in everything President Bush stood for, but was against everything his opponent stood for.  In 1992 I voted for Clinton because he had cool hair and played a mean sax. I voted for him again because, I couldn’t see myself  listening to Bob Dole talk on TV for 4 years.  It would of been so painful.  So as you can see my methods of voting for the presidential races are not traditional.

I taped the S.O.T.U. last night so I can fast forward through the boring parts, which I have to say was the whole thing.  I thought the best part was the Republican response.  Now I understand why Bob McDonald got elected. He is cool, charismatic and lets his kids watch Sports center.  What I did notice that the newly elected Governor of the state of VA did that our President did not do is grab my attention.  I understood everything he said.  I think I will send the Gov a Gut Gripper for his iPhone for the great speech.

I’m not sure if people reading my blog follow the controversial fight between Fox news and the rest of the runned over media.  I like Fox, because I know at anytime I will see a real liberal or a real right wing conservative get hammered by someone on their station.

Last night, after the Virginia Gov. finished his speech, I had two TV’s side by side.  One had Fox and the other had MSNBC commentating on how both speeches were.   So Fox Commentetors who we all know all lean right.  But these so called right wingers said positives and negatives about the the Newly elected Gov speech as well as president Obama’s speech.  But if you listen to MSNBC  talking about the VA Gov. the first thing they say,  and I quote “Nobody knows who this guy is and the only person he mention was the newly elected senator from MA”.  This is why MSNBC is in trouble and Fox is thriving.  So my advice to all the Media, stop the negativity and hire lovely ladies like Fox does (is that politically correct enough?).  By the way what is with Chris Mathews?  One day he loves the Pres, the next minute he is against him and now he loves him again.  I guess the day he was against him he got his spine back.   Maybe he needs a Gut Hang-it for his iTouch

Last thought:  Who here thinks that David Axelrod looks like Mr. Spacely of Jetsons fame?  If he was shorter and a little fatter he could play him in the movie.

This weekend is the Pro bowl.  Very exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
